How Do We Compare?
Even though same sex-marriage was not the main goal for the LGTB movement in the beginning of the 1970s, with the new millennium’s arrival they quickly started to gain popularity and became such in countries like the USA as well as in the majority of countries across western Europe. The movement for same-sex marriage rights is part of a larger international community.

Where are we?
At this point of time Bulgaria is not among the countries that has legalized same-sex marriage. However our team at Alfa Luxury Events is strongly advocating on behalf of that part of the Bulgarian people, that would like to express their feelings in conducting a same-sex marriage and this is now a dream that can come true in our neighboring Greece.
Greece is the first Christian Orthodox-majority country that legalized same-sex marriage. As per Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ words, it was a major injustice that was overcome. The positive attitude of the Prime Minister is like a breath of fresh air in the otherwise old-fashioned thinking of the Eastern European countries.
Based on our vast experience in wedding planning abroad and countless successful wedding ceremonies all across Greece, we in Alfa Luxury Events are at your service to fulfill all of your dreams about that perfect wedding in Greece.
How can I send a request for a same-sex marriage?
We can guide you through the entire process, starting from selecting the location, the topic of the wedding as well as with the documents since different procedures apply in Greece. Impossible is not our vocabulary and there is no such thing as “this cannot be done”. All your dreams are now just a phone call away to being fulfilled and a wedding in Greece is the alternative, which unfortunately is currently not available in Bulgaria.
As a conclusion to all of the above, couples interested in same-sex marriage in Bulgaria do have an alternative. Whenever there is hope, we find a way to make things happen. With support from a company like ours, Greece is now an option and what was till now just a dream, is now reality.
